Christians in South Holland with a heart for their community are invited to an information event hosted by Spalding Street Pastors next weekend.

Volunteers who patrol the town’s streets on Fridays between 10pm and 4am will be available to answer questions about the scheme at The Lighthouse Church, Haverfield Road, Spalding, on Saturday, March 15, at 3pm.

You can also learn about volunteering as a prayer pastor or CCTV operator, in support of street pastors, based at Spalding Police Station, Westlode Street.

Marion Sandhu, team co-ordinator for Spalding Street Pastors, said: “We are looking for people aged 18 and over who have been Christians for at least one year and are committed to going out on the streets of Spalding at night.”
