Car and tractor crash on A17 in Fosdyke

BREAKING NEWS WEDNESDAY 11.15AM: A man and a woman have been taken to hospital after the car they were in collided with a tractor on the A17 in Fosdyke.

The pair were in a Vauxhall Corsa that collided with a New Holland tractor in Washway Road at about 4pm yesterday.

Paramedics treated the 22-year-old man from Lancashire and woman, whose age and place of origin are unknown, after they were help from the Corsa which was found upside down in a ditch.

The pair were both treated at the scene and taken to Pilgrim Hospital in Boston.

They weren’t thought to have been seriously injured and the tractor driver was unhurt.

A section of Washway Road, at its junction with the B1357 Common Road, was closed for about an hour while emergency work went on and the car was recovered.
