Burglars flee with jewellery

Burglars stole jewellery, including a diamond ring, wrapped Christmas presents, an iPhone and Canon digital cameras and lenses after ransacking a Spalding home.

Police believe the intruders may have fled from the house in Monks House Lane carrying the property in two pink holdalls stolen from the house.

The break-in happened between 7pm and 11pm on Friday.

Police say the burglars may have first attempted to get inside the house through front windows, but then forced a conservatory door.
