Boy aged seven injured in Spalding car collision

A seven-year-old boy is in hospital after he was hit by a car in Spalding.

It happened in Pennygate, near Monkshouse Primary School, where the boy was in collision with a black Ford Fiesta at about 4.45pm.

The boy was taken to Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, for treatment but his details of his injuries have not yet been released.

Pennygate was closed for about an hour while police carried out enquiries in the area, including with driver of the Fiesta who was uninjured.
