Archbishop of Canterbury calls in on Long Sutton

Wednesday, 9am: THE Archbishop of Canterbury called in to see Long Sutton's revolutionary eco-homes yesterday to as part of a four-day tour of the county.

Unity Gardens residents Claire Lovett and Clive Gillett, pictured with The Most Rev and Rt Hon Dr Rowan Williams, were among those to welcome him to the development on Monday.

While there, he was given a tour of the site, which includes a wind turbine, and one of the homes.

Dr Williams was in the county to celebrate the life of Bishop Edward King, who died 100 years ago.
