Kids on board for green learning

YOUNGSTERS from Quadring are all aboard for the UK’s biggest ever school trip next week as they take part in Green Schools Revolution: LIVE!

Pupils from Quadring Cowley and Brown’s Primary School will be heading to Norfolk’s Eco-tech as part of The Co-operative’s week-long programme of events to celebrate environmental learning outside of the classroom.

The school will be part of an ambitious national school trip, which will see 7,000 children visiting science and discovery centres to learn about sustainability, water and healthy living.

Entry to the venues is fully funded by The Co-operative, with the first 100 schools to have registered also landing themselves subsidised coach travel.

The school pledged their support for the planet earlier this year when they signed up to The Co-operative’s Green Schools Revolution, a programme of environmental lessons and activities for teachers and parents.
