People with learning difficulties and other vulnerable groups can find out how to stay safe on the streets in Spalding today.

A new Keep Safe scheme is being launched in Market Place where key rings, cards and phone stickers are being given out to people who feel unsafe while out in their community.

They can go into any shop, library, cafe or other establishment with a Keep Safe sticker in the window and show their key ring or card to a member of staff who will then call for help.

The scheme is being funded by Lincolnshire County Council and several community groups.
