JUSTIN Ling is off on a dream drive – aiming to visit 133 pubs in the space of seven days.
The shift manager at Spalding’s The Ivy Wall left on Saturday on his pub crawl with a difference.
His 1,678-mile route will take him to Wetherspoon hostelries in this country and in Northern Ireland before his return to The Ivy Wall is celebrated on Friday at 8pm (31).
Justin is hoping to raise more than £5,000 for CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity.
He will be collecting £20 from each of the pub managers and will then be taking the collection bucket around customers.
He is hoping businesses and residents in the area will get behind his fundraising bid by donating to the cause or offering a contribution to the £300 costs.
The mammoth trek began in King’s Lynn on Saturday where he visited two Wetherspoon pubs in its town centre, The Globe and Lattice House.
His route includes Cambridgeshire, Middlesborough, Sunderland and Northern Ireland.
A Citroen dealership has loaned him a car, where he will be joined by his wife Julie.
Justin said: “I am hoping to raise more than £5,000 as Clic Sargent is a very good charity.”
