BIG smiles and bonhomie were the order of the night at Moulton Methodist Church’s annual Harvest Supper.

Around 15 parishioners enjoyed a good meal provided by Roffes Caterers.

Later, at an informal auction, they bought up all the fresh produce from Sunday’s Harvest Festival service display.

The auction raised more than £123 for church funds.

Organiser Val Venables said: “There aren’t so many of us left in the congregation, but everyone who was able to come took part wholeheartedly. We had a really lovely evening.

“This year we stipulated that the harvest display goods should all be fresh or home-made, and people gave very generously.”

New Methodist Circuit minister, the Rev Alan Barker, also attended.
