A man carried on contacting his ex-partner after being given an official police warning not to harass her, Spalding magistrates heard.
Patrick Grimwood (44), of High Street, Long Sutton, pleading guilty to pursuing a course of conduct amounting to harassment of Amanda Baxter by sending texts and voicemail messages between March 19 and March 22.
He also admitted his actions put him in breach of a conditional discharge imposed for criminally damaging a window at Ms Baxter’s home.
Solicitor Rachel Stevens, mitigating, told magistrates: “He should have known better. He had been warned not to contact her.
“They had been together for 13 years. When the relationship broke up this time he thought it would be another occasion where they would get back together.”
Magistrates on Thursday adjourned the hearing to May 3 for a probation report.
He was granted bail with conditions that he must not contact Ms Baxter or go within 100 metres of her home.
