RESCUE dogs and their new owners returned to Jay Gee Dog Sanctuary at Algarkirk, near Boston for the annual summer fun day and dog show.
The glorious sunshiney day brought hope of a new home too for quite a few of today’s 60 inmates who are packing out the centre’s kennels.
More than 300 people contributed to the £1,500 made for the local branch of the Jerry Green charity, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
And a number of them registered interest in one or other of the stray and abandoned dogs and were asked to come back for them later this week.
Supervisor Jo Hickson said: “A lot of our dogs come back every year with their new owners. We had fantastic weather and everyone enjoyed it.”
