An annual beer festival was the toast of Pinchbeck when villagers turned out to make the most of the sun and raise money for charities.

Run over three days at the Ship Inn, it has been a popular event on the village calendar for the past eight years.

As well as music and real ales, five teams entered the tug of war. It was won by Mason Bros Transport, with runners-up the Fisherman’s Arms in Pode Hole.

Proceeds will be divided between the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance, Penguins Play Group and Brun Lea Care Home.
