A Spalding student is hoping the phrase “the way to a person’s heart is through their stomach” will help her go to Africa next summer.

Eleisha Issitt (13), who attends Sir John Gleed School, hosted her own cake stall at Broad Street Methodist Church, Spalding, and raised about £130 towards her involvement in a community project in Tanzania she aims to be part of in 2015.
