STAFF and children at a Spalding nursery were in the pink to raise cash for charity.

Little Treasures Nursery in Haverfield Road decided to support the Breast Cancer Campaign’s Wear It Pink day and so far have raised £77.

Nursery manager Rebecca Genever said: “We have supported events such as Children In Need and Comic Relief in the past, but this was the first time we had done this.

“The staff and children all made donations in exchange for wearing pink and we also did some face painting to raise extra cash.

“Everyone enjoyed it and we wanted to do something to help such a worthy charity.”
