Fish and chips for just 100 pence? Yes, Turners Fish Restaurant in Spalding, popularly known as Sheddy’s, is celebrating its centenary with a gala night on Wednesday (7pm – £12 tickets include fish and chip supper and entertainment), but between 5pm and 7pm portions of fish and chips will be sold for 100 pence to celebrate 100 years of trading.

LIVELY NIGHT OUT

Juliet Kelly will be celebrating the divas of jazz at Frampton Village Hall on Saturday (7.30pm) with songs by some of the best loved singers, such as Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughan and Billie Holliday. Admission is £8 – 01205 722013.
