Firefighters from Bourne, Market Deeping, Stamford and Corby Glen were called out to a huge scrap fire yesterday (Friday) afternoon.
Fire damaged 50 tonnes of waste artificial grass, two scrap cars and a tonne of scrap farm equipment on a site at Scoth Farm Road, Edenham.
The blaze was put out with hosereels and a farmer’s teleporter.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said the cause was fire spreading from a nearby bonfire.
The alarm was raised just after 3pm.
