At least 70 old and new tractors are expected to take part in a Tractor Road Run on Sunday.

Starting at Holbeach’s Fleet Road Industrial Estate (10.30am), the tractors will cover a 23-mile course before returning to the industrial estate for hot dogs and burgers at around 1pm.

Organiser Paul Beecham is raising funds for a prostate cancer charity and has previously made on average around £1,300 for causes such as Moulton Mill.

Paul says all tractors can take part, so long as they are roadworthy, for £5 or a greater donation.

He said: “We are going out in the countryside this time because a lot of us are farmers and like to see the crops.”
