The second Holbeach Music and Beer Festival takes place this weekend.

Holbeach United Community Sports Academy will be rocking to the sounds of reggae tribute band Zeb Rootz on Friday (6pm).

Among 17 local live bands playing at the event, The RPJ Band, headed by son of Status Quo guitarist Rick Parfitt, performs on Saturday (noon to 11pm). On Sunday, versatile rock band High Rollers will be one of the bands performing (noon to 10.30pm).

There will also be an inflatable family fun area with slide, assault course, outdoor games and various food and real ales.

Weekend wristbands cost £7.50 or £5 (4-17s) from Tonwood Hardware Store, in Chapel Street, Holbeach.
