Holbeach piano tuner’s son Joe Lock is supporting a student musician friend’s musical marathon in aid of homeless people.
Joe has entertained audiences around the Holbeach area since the age of nine and is known as The Joe Lock Orchestra because he plays so many instruments. He has supported two-thirds of the gigs in aid of Framework with piano, sax and vocals.
On Friday, the 16-year-old Lincoln College student will be performing with his friend Dom Stockbridge at The Rose and Crown at Holbeach Hurn, the 29th concert in the 31-gig marathon.
The musical marathon has taken Dom, and occasionally Joe, to venues across five counties, where nearly £3,500 has already been raised in donations and appearance fees.
The music is a contemporary mix of easy listening, blues and jazz and the gig starts at 9pm.
