Maplin’s Holiday Camp of 1959 is being recreated in Spalding’s South Holland Centre from Wednesday, November 20.

Spalding Amateur Dramatic & Operatic Society (SADOS) is pleasing fans of the 1980s television show with its stage production of Hi-de-Hi!

This adaptation draws on some of the favourite episodes.

For instance, Joe Maplin announces the opening of a holiday camp in the Bahamas, with the winner of the annual Miss Yellowcoat competition going to work there – sparking intense rivalry among the girls.

Hi-de-Hi! runs from Wednesday to Saturday, November 23.
