Trust information meets standard

Lincolnshire’s hospitals have been recognised for providing reliable, high-quality health and social care information.

United Lincolnshire’s Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs Boston’s Pilgrim, has retained its Information Standard certification – first gained in 2011 – after being reassessed.

The standard signified that the information the trust supplies within information leaflets meets the Department of Health’s best practice standards.

Director of nursing Eiri Jones said: “We are delighted to achieve this standard for the benefit of patients, staff and visitors.

“It means patients benefit by having the right information to hand.”
