Have your say

Are you hard-of-hearing and would like to learn more about hearing loss, find out about equipment that can help you to hear better, or talk to someone who understands what it’s like to have hearing loss?

Are you deaf and need support in accessing services or BSL translation? Then Lincolnshire Sensory Services free drop-in sessions held at The Methodist Church, Broad Street, Spalding could be for you.

They can provide information on hearing loss and inform you about equipment and services. If you wear NHS aids provided by United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust, they can also help you with hearing aid maintenance, supply new batteries and change ear mould tubing (please bring your audiology record book with you).

The free drop-in is held on the first Tuesday of each month (except in January when it will be held on Tuesday 10), 1pm to 3pm, and is open to anyone who is deaf or hard-of-hearing.

A BSL interpreter will be there to support with any translation needs and tea and coffee will be available for anyone wanting to stay for a chat.

Lincolnshire Sensory Services provides specialist support across Lincolnshire for people with hearing and/or sight loss and is delivered by Action on Hearing Loss in partnership with South Lincolnshire Blind Society and Lincoln and Lindsey Blind Society.
