Spalding’s new Safe Places Scheme at Tonic Health was launched last week on World Mental Health Awareness Day.
The launch event included a number of presentations related to the scheme, which is funded by the Managed Care Network for mental health.
Michael Morris from Tonic Health gave a presentation on the weekly meeting group that will take place every Tuesday between 4.30pm and 6pm.
The free weekly meetings – hosted by Vanessa Browning – are open to anyone who struggles with mental ill health.
The peer-led group will provide an opportunity to learn about mental health and hear from specialist speakers, and partake in a variety of different activities each week.
For further information, please call Tonic Health on 01775 725059 and ask to speak to Vanessa. Alternatively, visit the website at www.spaldingsafeplaces.co.uk
