Nurse practitioner Michelle Bradley, of Fleet, is braving the shave for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Michelle will lose her locks next Wednesday, September 22 and has already smashed her £250 target by raising £470 – but donations are still welcome.
She said: “Our family, like so many others, have lost precious family members to cancer and have received support from Macmillan in some of those times.
“I’ve often wondered if I’d be totally grey now if I didn’t have my hair coloured every few weeks, and would never consider letting it grow out, so this is the way to find out and hopefully raise some money for a worthwhile cause.”
