MEMBERS of Welland Lodge Freemasons in Spalding have raised £150 for Macmillan Cancer Support thanks to their annual Ladies Night.

About 90 people attended the event which took the form of a ball and included a raffle on the night in aid of Macmillan’s Spalding and Holbeach support group.

Jon Cooper, one of the organisers, said: “We hold the event once a year where the Worshipful Master of the lodge encourages us to invite our wives and partners to a night out.

“This year’s event was brilliant, everyone had a fantastic time and the people I spoke to all said they really enjoyed themselves.”
