FOLLOWING hot on the heels of their award winning comedy Comfort and Joy, Spalding Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society (SADOS) present, Sandcastles, at the South Holland Centre, from Wednesday until Saturday, at 7.30pm.

Written by Bob Larbey, best known for TV comedy classics, The Good Life, Ever Decreasing Circles and As Time goes by, Sandcastles illustrates perfectly the British obsession with class.

Set on an English beach, the Pattersons and the Billets are proud owners of beach huts, and have developed their own set of unwritten rules on beach hut etiquette, which is threatened by the jealousy of other beach users, and by irreverent Doug, who, with his beautiful “nieces”, have rented the adjacent hut.

To help the mood along, the South Holland Centre is creating a beach bar, complete with fish and chip suppers (£5), show tickets priced at £12 (£10) are available on 01775 764777.
