It’s even harder keeping youngsters entertained during half term when the weather is bad, but there are a few activities to consider.
On Thursday at Ayscoughfee Hall Museum in Spalding there is a February Family Fun day (11am to 3pm) with a variety of arty activities (£2.50 a child).
Just drop in any time between those hours and have a go.
On Saturday at Spalding Library there is a free workshop called Masks from around the World (10.30am to 1.30pm).
Stephen Jon, a professional theatre mask maker, will explain what masks are used for and why we use them.
Alternatively, take them along to Doodles Pottery Painting Studio at Unique Cottage Studios on the outskirts of Spalding (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, 10am to 4pm).
Once painted, items are left for firing – prices vary.
