A new group that meets to discuss a wide range of topics concerning health and well-being is now up and running.

The local group is supported by the Federation of Holistic Therapists, the top professional association for therapists in complementary, sports and holistic beauty.

The meetings are open to all therapists as well as students in these disciplines and general members of the public who have an interest in their own health and well-being.

The group for South Holland and Peterborough meets every other month at the South Holland Centre in Spalding. Following a very successful talk on Bowen Therapy at the September meeting, there are plans for talks on a wide range of subjects including laughter yoga and balance.

The next meeting will be on Monday, November 10, from 7pm-9pm , with a talk entitled The Rude ‘M’ words, which will be an inspiring and wide-ranging look at the area of business and marketing.

The group also provides networking opportunities, meeting fellow practitioners and people interested in this exciting area. Meetings also offer the opportunity to earn CPD points (two per meeting) which are a requirement for all professional therapists, and the chance for local training courses to be arranged.
