SEVENTEEN youngsters had a speedy journey to the stage at Spalding’s South Holland Centre.

Children aged seven to 12 years performed 21st Century versions of Three Little Pigs, Hansel and Gretel and Little Red Riding Hood to an audience of family and friends on Friday evening after only beginning rehearsals on Monday.

Drama teachers Amber Sinclair and Jamie Cowper devised “A Really Grimm Tale”.

Centre general manager Sally Harrison said: “They put the show together in a week.”
