Residents, relatives and members of staff came together to have fun at the annual summer fete at Patchett Lodge, which raised over £400.

Those at the care home in Holbeach were able to enjoy a barbecue, enter a tombola and a raffle and play games at the fete.

Stalls sold homemade cakes and cards, as well as bric-a-brac and bouquets of fresh flowers.

Live entertainment was on show at the fete, and three rabbits, who are new additions at the home, were also named.

The money raised at the event will be going towards the care home’s comfort fund.

Sally Lewis, manager of Patchett Lodge, said: “We had a really great day and the fete went really, really well.

“This is my first time doing the fete as manager and I want to say a big ‘thank you’ to everyone who came along – especially relatives and the residents for all of the support.”
