FOUR good causes will have a share of the £580 raised at Saturday’s Holbeach Hurn Fun Day.

The event was held at the Rose and Crown pub and manager Darran Fiddler said the proceeds will go to the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance, Help the Heroes, Macmillan Nurses and Holbeach Hurn Church.

Around 200 people attended, enjoying live music from the stage and a host of stalls.

Face painting was part of the fun organised for children who went along but quite a few grown-ups sported painted faces too.

Mr Fiddler said: “We were very pleased. This was the first one.

“We are going to go ahead with it next year and make it even better.”
