STAFF at Gosberton House Care Home picked up a national award for delivering “Gold Standard” end of life care.

The home was one of seven in Lincolnshire, and just 36 in the country, to pick up the Gold Standards Framework in Care Homes Quality Hallmark Awards at a twice-yearly event supported by Age UK.

Charlotte Molesworth, nurse manager at Gosberton House said: “We are thrilled to receive commend status for the GSFCH, following the hard work the home has put into this award over the last few years.

“The standard of care we give at Gosberton House Care Home has always been excellent and we feel we are proactive in caring for all our residents’ needs, not just those residents in the last days of their lives.”

The award recognises homes that have helped cut hospital deaths and boost customer satisfaction for families, residents and staff.
