CHILDREN who attend the centre at Westmere Community Primary School at Sutton Bridge are particularly excited about the arrival of spring this year.
For the first time the youngsters at Sutton Bridge and Area Children’s Centre will have a garden to play in – and new play equipment.
The garden has been transferred to the centre from the playgroup, which has a new outdoor space of its own, and now the garden is in the process of being revamped with a willow bower, chair and planter, bamboo water play, sheds and other outdoor activities for the children to enjoy. “It is really exciting,” said children’s service support assistant at the centre Angela Lewis.
“We are trying to get it all up and running by the spring.”
