Gaming review: MOTOGP game crying out for next-gen engine

MOTOGP 15 (PS4/X1/PS3/360/PC) OUT NOW.

The new MotoGP game offers solidly competent officially licensed fare – but with only incremental changes to last year’s version.

There’s minor enhancements in the form of graphics, computer AI and track, rider and weather effects – but this biking game really isn’t a giant leap from last year for Valentino Rossi and co.

Sadly the game is crying out for a next-gen engine – particularly with this version having ‘freezing’ issues after some races (which should be getting a patch) – to move the licence forward and advance the series.

This time round it’s just one for hardcore fans.
