ULTRA STREET FIGHTER IV (PS3/X360/PC)

OUT NOW

The fourth and final iteration has been released for the greatest fighting game of all-time TM – and it’s deserving of the ‘ultra’ moniker.

With a tasty £19.99 RRP, Street Fighter IV has finally received the ultimate version with five new characters – including Final Fight and Alpha version favourites Hugo and Rolento – to take the roster up to a whopping 44 combatants, along with gameplay and mechanics ‘balancing’ via fan feedback.

Throw in some new modes/features and six new arenas, and this just about offers enough for fans to shell out a few more ‘queen quids’ – but if you own any of the older versions you could feel like you’ve received a dragon punch and tipped upside down for yet another SF IV game.

Despite that fact, this is still the best of all-time at what it does – and deserves its five-star tag.

But you’ve made your teeth meat out of IV now Capcom, so let’s just put this version to bed and move onto Street Fighter V on next-gen consoles. Capiche?
