DRAGONBALL XENOVERSE (PS4/XONE/PS3/X360)

OUT NOW

This provides a satisfying blast to the past – with a next-gen re-polish – as Dragonball Z is revamped from its late eighties/early nineties manga anime roots.

If you can remember the time when the likes of Street Fighter 2, Fatal Fury and Ranma 1/2 properly launched fighting games on the Super Nintendo and Mega Drive back in the day, you’ll appreciate this new 3D incarnation which fans will lap up.

But if you’re not privy to Akira Toriyama’s heavy-influenced universe – in which you partake in frenzied battles via multiple modes with a whole host of combatants – then you may struggle to get the most out of this heavily-Japanese influenced world.

For one-on-one fighting enthusiasts though – there’s still plenty of fire left in this series.
