Fundraising to pay for resurfacing works on a well used West Pinchbeck road has been given a boost thanks to local councillors.
Members of the West Pinchbeck Village Hall committee are fundraising to cover the estimated £9,000 cost of resurfacing the roadway leading to the hall. Secretary Lynne Andrew said: “Our roadway down to the village hall resembles the surface of the moon with so many craters. “We would like to thank county councillor Steve Williams and district councillors Elizabeth Sneath, Sally Slade and James Avery for their generous donations of £4,600 from their budgets towards the work. “We have also had some donations from villagers totalling £1,000, which is most generous. “Another donation of £500 from the West Pinchbeck Church Ladies and taken our total so far to £6,100.” Photo: SG250313-449NG
