Spalding Library held a Bears Night for youngsters and their cuddly toys on Friday.

Children and their teddies came along for a free craft and story session and then left their bears overnight for a ‘sleepover’.

The toys were collected on Saturday morning complete with a passport of pictures to show the tots what they got up to.

The staff of the library, who organised the activity, placed the bears in different places to take pictures for each teddy’s overnight journal.

The children had a fun craft session as well as storytime with their bears. The staff seemed to have fun as well whilst moving the toys around.

Overall, it was an enjoyable and educational time for all those who attended.

Up next for youngsters is a Pirates and Princesses Party on March 31 at 10am.

Children can dress up and attend the party where they can get involved in theme related crafts, stories and games.
