Hundreds of runners braved the blazing sun to take part in an annual 10k race and fun run through Thurlby.
There were 176 runners in the fun run and 167 runners in the 10k race.
First over the line in the distance race was James Horman from Liverpool Harriers in a time of 35 minutes.
The first woman over the finish line, and tenth overall, was Stephanie Cooper of Werrington Joggers in a time of 41 minutes and 14 seconds.
U16 Martin Clarke was first in the fun run in a time of nine minutes, 31 seconds and U14 Megan Ellison was the top girl in a time of ten minutes and 37 seconds.
Race director David Biddlecomb said: “It was our third highest entry and the feedback from the runners is they enjoyed the race and had a good day.
“All money raised goes straight back into the village to the primary school and 1st Thurlby Scouts.”
