Around 50 people gathered at Fleet Baptist Church for their annual summer fete.
The event on Saturday was held to raise money for necessary repairs and improvements to the church’s interior. There was a variety of traditional games to take part in, including Guess the Name of the Baker and a tombola. Guests were also delighted by homemade cakes and a barbecue. One of the organisers, Joyce Waterfall, said: “The day went really well. “We were so thankful that the weather stayed nice and we appreciate everyone who took part.” The final total raised on the day will be announced in the coming weeks.
