Kind pupils at Surfleet Seas End Primary School put together ten shoeboxes filled with much-needed items for youngsters growing up in war-torn and developing countries.

The school took part in Operation Christmas Child appeal, which distributed the parcels filled with toys and toiletries.

Teacher Suzie Allcock organised the appeal in school.

Mrs Allcock went to Romania to see the charity’s work and said the collection in school had allowed the Surfleet pupils to realise how lucky they were.
