Youngsters in Long Sutton were making their mark on the town’s skateboard ramp.

A £400 scheme funded by South Holland District Council’s vitality project saw professional graffiti artists working with teenagers to decorate the ramp with their own designs.

The work was overseen by Lincolnshire County Council youth worker Lindsey Fish.

About 20 teenagers turned up to get involved in the project to improve the ramp, which had been badly vandalised with offensive graffiti.

Lindsey said it was hoped that a Youth Service art worker might be able to help youngsters complete the project with left over cash.
