Gordon Boswell used “ancient gypsy powers” to raise £200 by levitating people from their seats at a charity evening for Spalding and Holbeach Macmillan Nurse Appeal at The Birds in Spalding.

The event was organised by well-known fundraiser, the late Benny Copland, and his Crowland fundraising committee. Benny is pictured handing the cheque to Macmillan Nurse Appeal chairman Brenda Ruysen with (from left) Shirley Barnes, Margaret Boswell, landlord Ken Sawyer, Gordon Boswell, landlady Joyce Sawyer and Joseph Tolley, one of the people who were levitated at the event.
