Have your say

THERE is a chance to protect yourself against catalytic converter thieves thanks to a special event in Holbeach.

The Suttons Neighbourhood Policing team is holding a crime prevention event at Grays of Holbeach, in Fen Road, on Friday (9am-5pm) and Saturday (9am-2pm).

Cesar data tagging kits will be available at a discounted price with items such as quad bikes and ride-on lawnmowers tagged for around £90 and towed trailers or horseboxes (not caravans) for around £50.

Equine kits will be available for around £30 for a single saddle kit and £90 for a three saddle kit.

Catalytic converter marking will be done for free and takes just a few minutes.

People who have been victims of this crime before will be given priority, along with drivers who have 4x4s or vehicles that sit high off the ground.

Remember to take a form of identification, such as a driving licence, and the V5c vehicle document along with you.
