The annual Fleet and District Country Show takes place at Battleford Hall Gardens in Fleet on Sunday (10am to 5pm).

The event includes the third annual open produce show, organised by Fleet Preservation Trust in association with Holbeach and District Horticultural Society.

Classes are for the best vegetables and fruit, flowers, preserves and baking. Cups and special prizes will be presented at 4pm.

New at the show this year is A Companion Dog Show, with judging starting at 11am for pedigree and novelty classes. The entry fee for dogs is £1 per class – produce classes 50p.

Admission to the show is £1 for adults and children are free.

Money raised will support local charities.
