The judges have visited, the votes have been cast and the three finalists hoping to be crowned as having ‘Spalding’s Best Front Garden’ have been chosen.
Shortlisted for the Frank Constable Best Front Garden competition organised by the Spalding in Bloom Committee, supported by The Spalding Guardian and sponsored by Birchgrove Garden Centre are as follows:
Mr C Larkin-Jones, of Severn Road, Mandy and Steven Clarke, of Ambleside Drive and and Natalie and Carl Knight, of Livingstone Drive.
The actual first, second and third placed winners will be announced at a presentation to be held in the Gardener’s Theatre at Birchgrove Garden Centre, Surfleet Road, Pinchbeck on Saturday, September 3.
The winner will receive The Best Front Garden Trophy, a certificate and £50 worth of Birchgrove vouchers, second place will be awarded a certificate and £25 worth of Birchgrove vouchers and to the third place winner will go a certificate and £10 worth of Birchgrove vouchers.
The management of Birchgrove Garden Centre will be sending a £5 Birchgrove Voucher to all those entries who were not in the first three this year.
The winner of this year’s competition will be entered into The East Midlands in Bloom Frank Constable Best Front Garden Competition in 2017.
