PLANES: FIRE & RESCUE (U, SHOWCASE CINEMAS PETERBOROUGH, FROM TOMORROW)

Disney have quickly capitalised on the $220m worldwide haul of the first movie from last year, with a super-quick 3D sequel already taking flight. When Dusty (Dane Cook) learns that he may never race again due to a damaged engine, he joins forces with helicopter Blade Ranger (Ed Harris) and his team, to courageously battle a massive wildfire.

BELLE (12A, SOUTH HOLLAND CENTRE CINEMA, FROM TUESDAY)

Inspired by the true story of Dido Elizabeth Belle, the illegitimate mixed-race daughter of a Royal Navy Admiral – raised by her aristocratic great-uncle Lord Mansfield (Tom Wilkinson), and his wife (Emily Watson). The colour of Belle’s skin prevents her from fully participating in traditions of her social standing in this 1770’s English-set drama.
