FAST & FURIOUS 7 (12A, SHOWCASE CINEMAS PETERBOROUGH, FROM TOMORROW)

The Fast and Furious team will hopefully give much-loved star Paul Walker the send-off he deserves – after his tragic death in November 2013.

His passing mid-shoot led to the film being delayed by nearly a year, and left the producers with the headache of completing the scenes of Walker’s Brian O’Conner – which they’ve done via computer-generated imagery and stunt-double brothers – while giving him a fan-placating exit.

This time Dom Torretto (Vin Diesel) and his crew – assisted by rock-hard agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) – are being hunted by Deckard (Jason Statham), the deadly brother of Owen Shaw (who they took out of action in the last film), with The Expendables 3’s UFC fighter Ronda Rousey and screen veteran fray, along with Tokyo Drift’s lead Lucas Black.
