Children in South Holland’s schools are having a ball with their Christmas celebrations.

One of the highlights for pupils at Holbeach St Marks Primary School was performing their modern day nativity, Whoops-a-Daisy Angel, for parents and friends of the school at the village Hall.

Peele Community College pupils in Long Sutton demonstrated that Christmas is all about giving when they invited senior citizens to lunch at the school.

It was party hats all round for pupils, who waited on table, and their guests.

Sutton St James Primary School had a successful Christmas Fair and were joined on the day by the choir and orchestra from University Academy Holbeach.

Long Sutton Primary School pupils also had a Christmas Fair and kept Santa Claus busy with their special requests for December 25.
