Long Sutton slimmers have lost almost one and a half tons in weight at two Slimming World groups in town since the youngest-ever leader, 25-year-old Selina Hall, took both of them over.
The super slimmers in Selina’s morning group of three years at St Mary’s Church Hall and at the evening group she’s led for two years at the Royal British Legion Hall have shed an amazing 247 stone between them on her watch.
Selina is so thrilled with their success that she’s launched a brand new group at Sutton Bridge’s Curlew Centre in Bridge Road every Monday at 7.30pm.
She said: “I lost a total of seven stone myself with Slimming World and it changed my life - I was in a wheelchair with a bone disease and slimming enabled me to have two operations that got me out of it.
“There’s a massive demand for the classes - numbers have risen from 57 when I started to 150, and they’ve done so well - I’m really proud of them.”
